Where the facts on Local Baby Support come from.

• Provider records: the NPPES NPI Registry from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services: names, specialties (taxonomy codes), practice locations, phone numbers and credentials as providers enter them. Loaded November 2026.
• Towns and ZIP codes: U.S. Census Bureau places and ZIP code areas, used to place each listing in a town.
• Crisis lines: the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline from the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
